The Houses of Honor Board of Directors is made up of dedicated community leaders, business professionals, and advocates who are passionate about supporting veterans and local heroes across Wisconsin. With strong roots in Green Bay, Fox Valley, and surrounding communities, our board provides strategic guidance, leadership, and oversight to ensure our mission continues to grow and make a meaningful impact. Through their commitment, Houses of Honor is able to connect trusted local businesses with military members, first responders, teachers, and healthcare professionals—creating opportunities for support, service, and lasting community relationships.

Cathy Kohlbeck is a seasoned mortgage professional with over 20 years of experience, dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve homeownership.

As the founder of the Houses of Honor, she is passionate about giving back to community heroes by connecting them with trusted professionals and meaningful savings. Cathy is known for her personalized approach, strong community involvement, and her love for connecting people to resources that truly help them succeed. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband, Kevin, their three children, and grandchildren.

Vice President

Kevin Kohlbeck is an engineer with Focus on Energy, where he has dedicated over 15 years to improving energy efficiency and sustainability. He is the driving force behind the Salute to Service event, leading efforts to honor and support community heroes. Outside of his professional and community work, Kevin is an avid hunter and fisherman who takes great pride in passing down the traditions of the outdoors, teaching his grandchildren the values of sportsmanship, patience, and respect for nature.

Millhouse Accounting is a family-owned firm in Green Bay with over a decade of experience providing professional accounting and tax services. Led by highly qualified CPAs, including Mike Jr., an EA and MBA specializing in taxation, the firm is authorized to represent clients before the IRS and is known for delivering reliable, knowledgeable guidance. Millhouse Accounting offers a full range of services including tax preparation, tax planning, consulting, bookkeeping, and payroll, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quick turnaround times.

Their client-first approach and attention to detail ensure every client feels confident and supported year-round.

Attorney

James P. O’Neil is a Green Bay native, attorney, and graduate of Marquette University Law School. He served in the United States Army Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel with deployments to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, and Iraq. Jim remains deeply committed to service as a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9677 and the Disabled American Veterans of Wisconsin, and serves as Legal Advisor to the State DAV. He is actively involved in his community through leadership roles with St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter and as Chairman of the Inland Lakes Protection & Rehabilitation District in Townsend. Jim and his wife, Brenda, have three children.

My husband Jeff and I are part of Houses of Honor because service runs deep in our family spanning generations from WWII and Vietnam to those serving today across the Navy, Army, Air force, National Guard and more. Grounded in our faith in God first, we feel called to continue serving those who have sacrificed so much for us. Our hearts understand this mission firsthand, and we see the ongoing need in our community for recognition, care, and respect for all who serve-veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers. Houses of Honor lives out that purpose every day, and we are honored to be part of it.

Lori Lindsley is the Escrow Manager with First American Title Insurance Company Evans Division in Green Bay, where she serves as a Senior Escrow Officer helping ensure smooth, accurate closings for buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals Known for her attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service, Lori is a trusted partner in the home buying process. She is also passionate about giving back to the community and loves being part of the Salute to Service event, supporting and honoring local community heroes.

Kathy Parker is a Financial Advisor with COUNTRY Financial in De Pere, Wisconsin, with over 17 years of experience helping clients achieve financial security through personalized insurance and investment strategies. She is known for her client-focused approach and commitment to helping families protect what they have while planning for the future. Outside of work, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family at their second home up north.

Keshia Witte is the owner of Kimmy’s Kleaners, a purpose-driven cleaning business built in loving memory of her mother-in-law and her passion for serving others. A dedicated wife and mother of two, Keshia is also a proud pet mom and is continually investing in her personal growth through ongoing college education.

With six veterans in her family, she has a deep passion for giving back to those who serve, making her a natural fit for the mission of supporting community heroes through Houses of Honor.

Director of Donations & Event Committee

Amy and Wes Johnson are dedicated supporters of the Salute to Service event, playing key roles in making it a meaningful experience for the community. Amy serves as the Donation Coordinator, helping gather and organize contributions that directly support local heroes, while Wes operates the event slideshow, bringing powerful stories and moments to life. Together, they are passionate about giving back and love spending time with their children and grandchildren.
